“John, His Story” will be presented at 7 pm Saturday, May 17, at Believers' Chapel Fulton, 614 S. Fourth St. (Rt. 481 across from McDonald’s). Port City Theatre, Oswego’s newest family theatre, opened its 2007 season with this internationally performed play. The family-friendly performance lasts approximately 90 minutes. Coffee-house refreshments will be served. A freewill offering will be taken to support the Port City Theatre. “The story is told in a nontraditional manner,” said Nancy Fox, Port City Director. “These are biblical stories told through a contemporary portrayal flowing from event to event led by John. Not the least bit preachy, ordinary by-standers who witnessed the events give an incredibly human perspective on the impact of Jesus and his ministry. While the character list for this play is about 25, they are all brought to life by four actors, some costume accessory changes, and a few props.” |
